I’m a lecturer with an interest in learning, teaching and video games, based at the University of Glasgow where I previously convened the university’s first game studies course and was the founding editor for Press Start, a student-led, peer-reviewed game studies journal.
I am now based in the Centre for Computing Science Education within the School of Computing Science, where I lead the Graduate Apprenticeship in Software Engineering programme and act as co-director of the University’s Games and Gaming Lab.
My book, Graduate Skills and Game-Based Learning, was published with Palgrave in 2019.
You can find me on Twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook, and I also have a limited presence on ResearchGate and Academia.edu. My University of Glasgow staff profile is here and my School of Computing Science webpage is here.
